1. Scheme Introduction
The sinking removal scheme is a method of removing non-conforming products by forming a "gap" through local sinking of the conveyor belt, allowing them to fall into the collection device below. This solution is very useful for products that are difficult to deviate from the direction of travel. It can seamlessly connect with the assembly line without affecting the normal conveying rhythm of qualified products, but it has limitations on the height and output of the products.
2. Principle
The conveyor belt at the removal station of the assembly line adopts a segmented design, with a movable conveyor belt that can be lifted and lowered in the middle section; After the detection system identifies the non-conforming product, it sends a signal to the lifting drive mechanism (such as hydraulic rod, electric push rod). When the non-conforming product runs above the movable conveyor belt, the drive mechanism drives the movable conveyor belt to quickly sink, forming a channel connected to the collection box below. The non-conforming product falls into the collection box under the action of inertia and gravity; When qualified products arrive, the movable conveyor belt should be kept level with the main conveyor belt to ensure smooth transportation; After the removal is completed, the activity conveyor belt quickly rises and resets.
3. Suitable products
The core is suitable for thin and flat shaped products, such as various printed books, magazines, ultrabooks, picture books, etc. It can also be adapted to medium and lightweight products with flat bottoms, such as mouse pads, thin steel plates, plastic sheets, PCB circuit boards, etc.
4. Precautions
The sinking speed and stroke of the activity conveyor belt should be accurately set according to the weight of the product and the speed of the assembly line to ensure that the product can smoothly fall into the collection box;
Buffer devices (such as rubber buffer pads and speed reducers) can be installed above the collection box to prevent damage when products fall;
Regularly check the stability of the lifting drive mechanism and the connection accuracy of the movable conveyor belt to avoid problems such as jamming or uneven connection with the main conveyor belt.
